Veterinary Technician/Assistant - Helena

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN/ASSISTANT, with clinical experience is needed full time for a busy 4 doctor practice in Helena.  

The right candidate will have Veterinary Technician/Assistant experience. They will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, and interested in learning. Technicians are utilized to their fullest abilities so our doctors can focus on patient/client care. 

Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out the Veterinarian's instructions, assisting in exam rooms and surgery, managing their time, communicating with the team and with our clients. Patient care, IV catheters, anesthesia, pharmacology, radiology, dentistry, surgery, and lab. 

Pay is based on experience. Hours are a 40 hours per week, typically four-10 hour work week; Emergency on call rotation, occasional Saturdays and holidays.

Full or Part-Time Veterinary Technician or Assistant - Livingston

Sleeping Giant Animal Clinic is seeking a full time or part time veterinary technician or assistant with small animal experience.  We are a rapidly growing, 3 doctor practice in Livingston, Montana.  Our new facility is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, including in-house blood and urine analysis, digital radiology, ultrasound and more. We focused our clinic design on minimizing stress to our patients and creating a positive and productive exam and hospital experience for both patients and owners.  In addition to preventive care and general medicine, we offer orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and end of life care. We manage the vast majority of medical cases in-house. 

Some experience working in a small animal clinic is required. Great communication skills, a strong work ethic, a commitment to the human animal bond and an eagerness to learn and grow are necessary.
