Ponderosa Veterinary Hospital: Position available for a full or part-time experienced veterinary technician.   We are a progressive SA two doctor clinic with a focus on high quality, compassionate care for our patients and clientele.  The ideal candidate must be able to communicate well with clients in a positive, polite and compassionate manner as well as be self-motivated, dependable, have a sense of humor and be team oriented.  One Saturday (half-day) per month required. We are well equipped with laser surgery, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, laser therapy, a full in-house laboratory and more.

Veterinary Assistant / Technician - Great Falls

Looking for a veterinary assistant/ technician to work between 30-40 hours a week. Open Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. Employee will start out as an assistant, as skills are acquired the opportunity may arise to be trained as a technician.  Hired candidate will be expected to learn all aspects of the job and execute them effectively on a daily basis. Duties will include scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, providing excellent customer service, cleaning up after pets, assisting in exam rooms, learning proper technique of restraining pets, helping the technicians, digital radiology, blood work, placing IV catheters, anesthesia monitoring during surgeries/procedures, as well as perform openings and closing duties. Looking for a quick learning, reliable, trustworthy, hardworking individual who thrives in a team environment. The position is physically demanding, attention to detail is mandatory and the ability to learn on the fly is expected. Will be expected to work many closing shifts.
