Veterinary Technician – Great Falls
Our busy and well established general & 24 hour emergency practice in beautiful Great Falls, Montana is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our family. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, demonstrate strong medical skills and be comfortable in a GP/Urgent Care environment.

We are looking for someone who shares our goals which are founded on providing the highest standards of veterinary care to our patients. Our team of veterinarians is supported by a highly proficient, compassionate staff that is dedicated to providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate should be skilled in soft-tissue surgery, have dental experience and is able to practice progressive and general medicine.

Our practice is well equipped with 5 exam rooms, 2 surgery rooms, 2 dental stations, digital imaging, endoscopy, ultrasonography, Idexx in-house lab, Pulse-Ox and much more.

Veterinary Technician - Vaughn/Great Falls
Country Haven Vet Clinic in Vaughn, MT is looking for an experienced veterinary technician or a candidate with multiple years of professional animal experience.

We are a one doctor animal practice approximately eight miles outside of Great Falls which focuses on high quality medicine as well as client education and communication. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced, highly motivated, team-oriented, and able to work efficiently while still having fun! The individual should value client service, be compassionate, and add to our already wonderful patient care. We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with clients to give them a great experience at our clinic!

This is a fast-paced job, and the right candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. The ability to maintain a bright demeanor and deliver wonderful client service regardless of circumstances is critical.

Our ideal candidate has multiple years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.

Veterinary Technician - Livingston

Veterinary Technician needed 35-40 hours/week with time off to enjoy beautiful Livingston Montana and nearby Yellowstone National Park. Responsible for implementing procedures and practices ensuring the health of individual Shelter animals and herd health of the Shelter population. Responsible for direct supervision of animal care technicians implementing medical and hygiene standards. Collaborates with veterinarian, administers medications and injections. Treats animals humanely, transmits these values to others and consults with prospective adopters re: animal’s health and temperament. Maintains animals’ vaccinations and medical records. Ensures the security of medications and medical equipment. Oversees foster care program. Usually one day for spay/neuter surgery assist and the rest of the week for above duties. Veterinary Technician – Bozeman

Veterinary Technician (Licensed or working experience equivalent)

AAHA Accredited, Gallatin Veterinary Hospital in Bozeman is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic full time technician to join our team. We are a full service small animal practice that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate care for our patients in a state of the art facility. We offer our patients a wide range of services including, life stage wellness, general surgery acupuncture, digital radiology, dental and more.  In addition to providing general surgery through our skilled associate veterinarians, GVH patients have access to the advanced surgical skills of Referral Surgeon Dr. Mark Albrecht at MVSS. 

General Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide in-patient medical care, which includes but is not limited to assist or perform medical treatments, give medications, diagnostics and monitoring, place IV catheters, draw blood, run lab tests, administer IV fluids, cleaning, feeding and walking patients as needed • Radiology duties include, positioning patients and taking radiographs. Submitting results for consults and review as needed • Collecting, preparing and running or submitting samples for requested tests. • Present discharge instructions and client information packs and giving patient updates, medical demonstrations and education for hospitalized patients • Preparing prescriptions, dispense medications and medication refills. Anesthesia induction, maintenance, monitoring and recovery of patients.

Preferred Specialization:
  Surgical prep and provide doctor assistance during surgeries including arthroscopy and orthopedic surgery on shoulders, elbows, and knees and several orthopedic procedures including TPLOs, TPOs, SHOs, and the tight rope (TR).  Dr. Albrecht also does several soft tissue surgeries including porto-systemic shunts, thoracotomies, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and laryngeal paralysis surgeries.
